
To further demonstrate our commitment to responsible drinking in Nigeria, employees took our message of responsible drinking to consumers, traders and the public in communities where we operate across the country.
This is in contribution to the United Nations Goal 12 which is centered around Responsible Consumption and Production and as part of the activities to commemorate the Global Beer Responsible Day on September 13, 2019.

As part of this year’s Global Beer Responsible Day commemoration, the company re-enforced its strong commitment to reduce harmful use of alcohol by educating consumers on the dangers of drinking and driving; marketing its products responsibly; and discouraging underage drinking and consumption of alcohol by pregnant women.
Employees engaged in activities such as making pledges towards smart drinking goals, in-bar activations with the sales team, street storms, smart drinking quizzes and food pairing events; over 5,000 people were impacted across all sites.
As a company that plans to remain in business for the next 100 years and beyond, we are constantly seeking out ways to protect our customers by ensuring that our products are consumed responsibly.
